Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the leakage of gas and to prevent the deterioration of compression efficiency, by applying galvanization or coating of soft metal or synthetic resin on the advancing face of female rotor thereby achieving continuous face contact between the male and female rotors, due to the resilient deformation of soft material. CONSTITUTION:Number 3 is an advancing face or a driving face at the tip of tooth of a male rotor 1, while number 4 is an advancing face or a driving face at the tip of a tooth of a female rotor 2. Coating or galvanization of a soft metal or coating 5 of a synthetic resin is applied on said face 4. Consequently continuous face contact rather than intermittent line contact is achieved between the male and female rotors 1, 2 to prevent the leakage of compressed gas. Furthermore since soft material is employed fine foreign material is pressed and burried into the soft material, thereby the contact face of rotor isn't damaged while the soft material will function as a kind of buffer thus to reduce the noise of the compressor.
