Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a steel plate having good formability without lowering the mechanical strength by hot rolling steel of specified constituent and composition and raising the coiling temperature and recrystallization temperature at the time of cold rolling. CONSTITUTION:Steel composed of 0.04-0.10% S, 0.50-1.50% Si, 0.20-0.80% Mn, 0.55-1.50% Cr, <=0.05% sol Al, 0.03-0.20% Ti, 0.03-0.50% Mo, 0.05- 0.70% Mo+Ti, 0.01-0.15% Zr and one or more of rare earth elements when necessary, the rest Fe and inevitable impurities is hot rolled at a finishing temperature of >=80 deg.C. After coiling it at 650-700 deg.C coiling temperature, it is cold rolled at a rolling reduction of >=35%. The cold rolled steel plate is recrystallization annealed by box annealing at a temperature >=650 deg.C and below Ac3 transformation point or by continuous annealing at a temperature <=750 deg.C and below A3 transformation point, and temper rolling of <=2% is applied. By this way a cold rolled high tensile steel plate excellent in stretch-flange formability having tensile strength of >=50kg/mm.<2> can be obtained.
