CONSTITUTION:In joint work of the first optical fiber 4 and the second optical fiber 5, the signal light A from the optical signal generating section 10 is externally leaked. The leaked lights a1, a2 are detected with the optical detection section 20 and the display section 30 located near the joint. In case of an ideal joint, the ratio of leaked components (a2/a1) is 1, then the propriety of joint can be judged by comparing the level of the leaked lights a1, a2.
