Abstract

CONSTITUTION: Ice crystals 1 crystallized in a crystallization tank by refrigeration desalting and covered with brine liquid film 2 are washed with produced plain water and this washing is stopped right before brine liquid film 2 is completely substituted, namely, when brine liquid film 2 is diluted with the plain water to a certain degree. Next, this diluted water is removed by dehydration to concentrate ice crystals. As a method of dehydration and concentration, a filter press type dehydrator is preferable and using a raising filter having many fine fibers stacked on the surface of the filter material as the filter material improves the efficiency of dehydration excellently.
