Abstract
PURPOSE:To raise the clearness with low energy by mixing a specified dibutyl dithiocarbamic acid zinc compound in a thermal color development layer. CONSTITUTION:Colorless or light-colored leucoline dye such as 3,3-bis(p-dimethylaminophenyl)-phthalido, organic acid such as boric acid and oxalic acid which develops the color of the leucoline dye by heating and a phenolic material such as 3,5-xylenol are compounded. As a binder, polyvinyl alcohol, as well as a lubricant, etc. when desired, is added. In such thermal color development layer is mixed dibutyl dithiocarbamic acid zinc of about 0.1-5 weight part to the leucoline dye. By using the thermal recording material thus obtained, the hindrance of the running property of a thermal head due to adhesion of dregs, sticking and the like is eliminated and a clear developed-color image with high density is obtained with low energy.
