Abstract
PURPOSE: The heat source-intercepting means and air-blowing mehcanism are controlled by the mechanism for detecting the completion of roasting containing a thermally sensitive element that is set among beans being roasted with stirring to stop the operation of the air-blowing mechanism or send a gentle wind during the roasting, whereby the roasting is mainly effected by heat radiation.
CONSTITUTION: The rotating drum 2 that has perforations 2 is equipped with a thermally sensitive element 13 on the door 11. The heat source is fixed beneath the drum and a fan 27 for sending air to the drum and air-blowing controlling plate 26 provided with solenoid 23 are fitted thereto. The thermally sensitive element 13, sensor circuit 101, buffer circuit 102, latch circuit 103, selenoid 23, heat source 14 and power source are connected. When electric power 108 is applied, the drum 2 and fan 27 are driven, the latch circuit 103 makes the heat source 14 turn on and the beans are roasted. When the thermally sensitive element detects that the temperature reaches the set level, it makes the heat source turn off and the buffer circuit 102 makes the solenoid 23 turn on to open the controlling plate 26, whereby the air blowing to the drum is stopped or made gentle.
