Abstract

PURPOSE: To automatically assemble tire without maloperation by detecting the diameter of wheel and the size of hub hole by means of a photoelectric type sensor.
CONSTITUTION: A support guide B for supplying a showl-like assembled wheel W and a tire T is provided, and a notch b is formed in the center of the support guide B. And, large and small diameter wheels W are provided in such a state that the support guide B is positioned on the side of a conveyer 5 and also in such a way that the wheels W can be detected by photoelectric type sensors S1, S2, S1', and S2'. And, photoelectric type sensors S3 and S3' are provided vertically and slantly to the hub hole 3 of the wheels W attached to said support guide B, and detect the size of the hub hole 3. Thus, the automatic setting of tire can be attained without maloperation.
