Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the operating limit of a synchronizer by forming a synchronizer field current control system capable of switching with a synchronizer terminal voltage constant control system. CONSTITUTION:A deviation signal between the synchronizer terminal voltage VG detected by an instrument transformer 4 and a set value Vrefl is applied through an automatic pulse phase unit 16 to a thyristor 11 in normal state. If this automatic system malfunctions, automatic-manual switch 17 is switched, and a voltage and current control switch 24 is energized. In this state, a voltage signal adder circuit 23 applies the deviation signal between the terminal voltage VG and the set value through an automatic pulse phase unit 21 to a thyristor 11. If an operator selects a control switch, the switch 24 is deenergized, and the field current constant control system is switched by the current signal adder circuit 9. Thus, the automatic controlling range can be extended.
