CONSTITUTION: When high or low speed side gear switching switch GCCSH or GCCSL is operated, and the extremely low speed or stopping state of the vehicle is detected by the contact SPC of a speed detector, a high or low speed side gear switching solenoid valve GCMVH or GCMVL is correspondingly energized. If the threads of the clutch are not preferably engaged with the valleys of the gear in this case, a main motor rotary switch is operated, a chopper unit CH is operated, and the main motor M is rotated at extremely low speed. If a predetermined time is elapsed, a time limiting element TD is operated to interrupt a gate signal to the chopper unit CH.
