Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide the titled feeder which is small in size, low in cost and simple in structure by a method wherein a small hole for preventing the internal pressure of an ink tank from rising at the time of fitting an ink cartridge is closed after the complete installation of the cartridge, and the ink is fed by permitting it to flow down spontaneously under gravity. CONSTITUTION:A threaded part 1N of the ink cartridge 1 is engaged with a threaded part 4N of the ink tank 4, and a stainless steel ball 2 in the cartide 1 is pushed upward by a projection 4A. A rise in the internal pressure of the tank 4 due to the reduction in the internal volume of the tank 4 is prevented by opening the small hole SH, which is closed tightly after the cartridge 1 is fitted completely. When the ink level is raised to the position of the outlet of the cartridge 1, the outflow of the ink 3 from the cartridge 1 is stopped and the ink level becomes constant.
