Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce leakage and to improve volume and compressing efficiencies by forming a low-friction film of 1W10μm only on a part of at least one end face of upper and lower bearing parts which is exposed to the inside of a cylinder.
CONSTITUTION: A clearance 5 in vertical direction between a cylinder 4 and a roller 1 is formed smaller than usual, and a film 10 of 1W10μm of a low-friction material is formed on an end face of an upper bearing 7. By doing so, no abnormal condition such that a compressor stops would not be occurred even when an end face 8 of the roller 1 touches the low-friction film 10 because of an accumulation of tolerances or a deformation at installation. That is to say, if, for example, molybdenum disulfide is used for the film as a low-friction material, only a part to which the end face 8 of the roller 1 contacted will come off, and the clearance of other part remains being smaller than normal condition, and compressing efficiency and volume efficiency can be improved.
