Abstract
PURPOSE:To enhance the operating efficiency of the rotary electric machine and to obtain the stable control thereof by allowing the field current occurred within predetermined time even if it exceeds the allowable current responsive to the temperature of the generator and thereafter returning stepwisely to the normal control state. CONSTITUTION:If the deviation signal 7a between the allowable field current 18a responsive to the temperature of the generator 1 and the field current 6a exceeds the maximum allowable deviation value V0, a monostable circuit 23 is energized so that the contact 23a is opened. Thus, the integrator 21 integrates the deviation signal 7a at a time contact responsive to the value of the deviation signal 7a. If the output 21a of the integrator 21 exceeds the set value 25a, monostable circuits 26, 27 are energized, the deviation signal 7a is stepwisely converted, and is applied as an excessive excitation limit signal to the automatic voltage regulator 3. Thus, the shock occurred at the generator is alleviated when the excessive excitation limit is applied thereto.
