Abstract
PURPOSE: To permit an exhaust gas collector to be more efficient by obliquely arranging heat pipes whose radiating parts are exposed in the outside of a flue so that the heat-receiving parts are below the exhaust gas collector and the radiating parts above the collector.
CONSTITUTION: The exhaust gas P in a flue is led through an exhaust gas collecting tube 1 into a soaking tube 8. The inside of the soaking tube 8 is formed as a filter chamber 9, in which a filter 10 is provided. To prevent the exhaust gas P from condensing in the filter chamber 9, heat pipes 6 and 6' are provided closely contacting with the outer circumferential surface of the soaking tube 8 at its central part. The heat pipes 6 and 6' are arranged so that heat-receiving parts 2 and 2' is as closer to the lower part of the soaking tube 8 as possible and radiating parts 3 and 3' to the upper part, and the intermediate parts obliquely cross the axis line of the exhaust gas collector. The obliqueness permits the working fluid in the heat pipes 6 and 6' having been gasified to readily reach the radiating parts 3 and 3' as well as the condensed fluid to return the heat-receiving parts 2 and 2'. Therefore, a more efficient collector can be obtained.
