Abstract

PURPOSE: To sink a radio floating buoy exactly and instantaneously by a method in which a small container having an ignition ball with a conductor and a gas- generating agent is sealed up by a lead or synthetic resin cover, and the ignition ball is fired by a remote-controlled radio-wave command to break the cover by high- temperature gas being generated.
CONSTITUTION: A metal or synthetic resin container 1 is housed with a gas-generating agent 6 and an ignition ball 2 with a conductor 3 whose one end is drawn out of a small hole bored in the side wall of the container 1. Also, the container 1 is provided with a lead or synthetic resin sealing plate 4. A radio floating buoy is sunk by a procedure in which the ignition ball 2 is fired by a remote-controlled radio-wave command to generate a large amount of high-temperature gas from the gas-generating agent 6 and the lead or synthetic resin sealing plate 4 is broken by said high-temperature gas.
