Abstract

PURPOSE: To produce titled resin particles having a uniform particle diameter and excellent toughness, by dispersing an aqueous solution containing an amine, an aldehyde, a specified metal salt and a hydrophilic surfactant into an oleophilic organic solvent solution of an oleophilic surfactant, and then condensing the amine with the aldehyde.
CONSTITUTION: Into an oleophilic organic solvent solution (below 10°C) of an oleophilic surfactant, HLB≤5, is dispersed an aqueous solution prepared by dissolving, into water (below 0°C), an amine component selected from the group consisting of m-phenylenediamine, other aromatic diamines and phenols; an aldehyde; a metal salt selected from the group consisting of chlorides, bromides or sulfonates of Ca, Mg, Fe or Co; and an oleophilic surfactant, HLB≥10. Then, the amine component is condensed with the aldehyde at below 50°C, and then the reaction is brought to completion at 20W150°C. Next, this reaction mixture is washed with a water- miscible organic solvent and then washed with water to obtain black spherical adsorbing resin particles.
