Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the thermal efficiency of the device by a method wherein the surface of a ceiling of a flow pipeline is formed into a plane and a wick wound round a pipe through which a heat medium flows is made to contact with the surface of the ceiling.
CONSTITUTION: The upper part of the flow pipeline 9 is covered with a plane plate to form an upper surface plate 2, the pipe 1 through which the heat medium is made to flow is inserted through a condensation part 3, and the wick 8 is wound round the pipe 1 and is made to contact with the back surface of the upper surface plate 2. Operational liquid 7 which releases the latent heat thereof to the heat medium flowing through the pipe 1 and is condensed goes along the surface of the ceiling of the flow pipeline 9 by a capillary phenomenon and almost all of it flows down to the condensation part 3. The operational liquid 7 being condensed in the condensation part 3 flows down along the surface of the ceiling of the pipeline 9 toward a evaporation part 4, while taking in the heat of the upper surface plate 2 heated by the solar heat and thereby being pre-heated, and later drops on a lower surface plate 10, where it is heated again by the heat transmitting from the upper surface plate 2 to the lower surface plate 10 and flows to the condensation part 3 through the flow pipeline 9.
