Abstract
PURPOSE: To use sea water as energy resources, by sinking the sea water collecting device in the sea and by separating and using oxygen and hidrogen gas, which are generated in this device by electrolysis of salt water, by the separating device.
CONSTITUTION: Anode and cathode 23 and 23' for electrolysis of salt water are provided in sea water collecting device 28 sunk in the sea, and a current is supplied to generate oxygen and hydrogen gas. These gas are separated by separating devices 21 and 30 and are led into collecting devices 20 and 20'. Mixture 7 and 7' of gas and water are led to separating devices 8 and 8' and separating device 4 and 4' according to respective specific gravities by pumping-up force of the bubble pump utilizing rise force of the mixture of gas and water and are stored in respective storage devices. Sea water which reaches fixed levels 6 and 6' by pumping-up force of the bubble pump is made into jet flow from ejection outlets 12 and 12', and water wheels 14 and 14' are rotated to generate electric power.
