Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a heat resistant Ni super alloy with superior high temp. corrosion and high temp. ductility resistances for a gas turbine nozzle material by specifying the C, Cr, W, Mo and Co contents of an Ni alloy.
CONSTITUTION: This alloy for a gas turbine nozzle material consists of, by wt., 0.2W1% C, 20W40% Cr, 5W20% at least one of W and Mo, 5W15% Co and the balance Ni or further contains 0.005W0.1% B, 0.05W1% at least one of Y and Al and at least one of 0.1W0.5% Ti and 0.1W5% Nb as required. This alloy is used in place of a heat resistant Co hard alloy and shows superior thermal fatigue resistances. In addition, it is easily welded and repaired, and a gas turbine nozzle can be manufactured by melting and casting in the air using this alloy.
