Abstract

PURPOSE: To make possible a stable operation where power required for agitation and separation is small, by classifying refuse into floated materials, suspended materials, and settled materials.
CONSTITUTION: Water is supplied from spray nozzle 26 into feed well 22, and refuse is supplied from feed shoot 24. Refuse is led into the liquid of separating tank 12 by agitating blade 36 and is liberated into respective composities by middle agitating blade 38. Rotation of lower agitating blade agitated the liquid to press the liquid upward, and further, an eddied rising water flow is formed from vortex chambers 46 and 48, and therefore, refuse in the liquid is separated into floated materials, suspended materials, and settled materials. Floated materials are gathered by floated material gathering blade 54 and are discharged from discharging shoot 60. Suspended materials are discharged through suspended material discharging path 42 and angular weir 92, for discharge, and settled materials are settled on holding pipe 86 through chambers 46 and 48 and are discharged by opening valve 88 fully.
