Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the titled film suitable for a heat sensitive recording system transferring a heat sensitive ink onto an ordinary paper, wherein an electrical resisting layer, a conductive layer and a heat sensitive ink layer which is solid in ambient temperature but melted by heating, are provided. CONSTITUTION:The electroconductive ink film is mainly composed of: (a) an electric resistance layer 3 consisting of a carbon dispersing type film pref. flexible with a thickness of several tens of mu, of resistivity approx. 10<3>OMEGAcm, (b) an electric conductive layer 4 consisted of a material wherein a copper such as cuprous iodide constitutes as its main constituent, and (c) a heat sensitive ink layer 5 wherein an oil-based ink of a required color is mixed into a polyethylene/wax which is solid under an ambient temp. but melts under the temp. of 80-100 deg.C. An electric current is flowed through the path consisting of: a needle electrode 1-the electric resistance layer 3-the electric conductive layer 4-the electric resistance layer 3-and a plate electrode 7 in accordance with the quality of the pattern to be transferred. During said operation, the produced heat energy melts the heat sensitive ink layer 5 partially, and the melted heat sensitive ink 7 is transferred to a recording medium 6 such as an ordinary transfer paper.
