Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate the wiring work required for the detection of heat-collectable conditions and to control the heat-collection reliably by a method wherein the amount of the solar light and the temperatures of a fluid and of a hot-water storage tank are detected respectively and a heat-collection control unit is controlled according to the detected values.
CONSTITUTION: When the solar light is cast upon a solar-light detecting means (cds) 9 in the daytime and the amount of light exceeds a setpoint, the first contact 12 of a light-amount comparison circuit 11 closes. Then a timer 13 operates to close the second contact 14 for a short time, thereby driving a heat-collection pump 6 and starting a heat-collecting operation. In this case, since the amount of the solar light is not yet sufficiently large and the temperature-differential between a low- temperature-side thermistor 7 and a high-temperature-side thermistor 8 is detected by a temperature-differential comparison circuit 15 to be still below a setpoint, the pump 6 is intermittently operated by the function of the timer circuit 13. When the amount of the solar light increases and the temperature difference detected by the circuit 15 exceeds the setvalue, a contact is changed over to the side of a normally opened contact 16b and the pump 6 is continuously operated irrespectively of the operations of the timer circuit 13.
