Abstract

PURPOSE: A prolonged pharmaceutical preparation having a delayed solubility of thial amide, comprising thial amide or its salt and a prolongably dissolving substance.
CONSTITUTION: A prolonged pharmaceutical preparation comprising a prolongably dissolving composition containing thial amide or its salt, or comprising a quickly dissolving composition containing thial amide or its salt and a prolongably disslvoing composition containing thial amide or its salt. An adjustor for eluation which is used in the prolongably dissolving composition comprises a substance (e.g., ethyl cellulose) slightly soluble in water and a water-soluble substance (e.g., macrogal). Thial amide and its salt is used as nonsteroid or nonphyrine basic anodyne or anti- inflammatory drug (commercial solantal tablet), its blood concentration is reduced quickly short time after administration and it is excreted in the urine. Its conversion to the prolongably dissolving composition improves prolonged effect.
