CONSTITUTION:When a disc 12 turns in the direction of an arrow 8, air flow 7 produced on a disc surface is pushed in toward disc direction with a slope plane 13 to produce a pressure, allowing to float up the slider 1. Since a groove 6 is provided on a slide surface 3 of the slider 1 toward air flowing direction, the floating gap set by this is reduced by changing the distribution state of the pressure on the slide surface 3 by air flow without changing load, allowing to hold always a given gap.
