Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent abnormal temperature rise in high-pressure stage exhaust chamber, by supplying a proper amount of steam to high-pressure turbine at the time of starting turbine, in single operation within a plant and when load is increased.
CONSTITUTION: Factors for determining turbine starting schedule are given independently for arithmetic circuit 13 for starting high-pressure stage and arithmetic circuit 14 for starting reheating stage. That is, high-pressure stage mismatch temperature 32 is given to circuit 13 as input signal, whereas reheating stage mismatch temperature 33 is given to circuit 14 as input signal. With such an arrangement, abnormal temperature rise in high-pressure stage exhaust chamber can be prevented by adding to main stop valve full arc injection means 17 a bias signal produced from protective calculating circuit 15 for increasing the opening 19 of subsidiary stop valve, and thereby increasing the amount of steam supplied to high-pressure turbine. Consequently, the abnormal status at the high-pressure stage exhaust chamber can be suppressed by the cooling effect being obtained accordingly.
