CONSTITUTION: At the inlets of second-stage and third-stage nozzles 15, 17 of a steam turbine, nozzle closing partition plates 21, 22 are fixed on the steam inlet side of nozzles 15, 17 for partially closing the steam passage of nozzles 15, 17. Steam jetting out from nozzles 12, 15, 17 is passed through the first-stage, the second-stage and the third-stage rotor blades 13, 16, 18 and produces turning force of rotor 19.
