Abstract

PURPOSE: To carry out a good partial plating without pretreatment, by lapping the face to be plated by propagating the vibration of ultrasonic waves to the body to be plated by the vibration transmission parts and next, turning on a direct electric current between the plating electrode and body to be plated.
CONSTITUTION: Tip end of the ultrasonic waves horn 14 and the plating electrode 16, are contacted with desired part of the body to be plated 18. By the above condition, vibration of ultrasonic waves of the ultrasonic waves vibrator 13 is propagated on the body 18 through the horn 14 by giving output of the pulse generation apparatus 17 to the vibrator 13 and face of the body 18 is lapped by the hammer action of the ultrasonic waves vibration transmitted to the tip end of the horn 14 and then, clean face to be plated is formed. After that, current of the direct electric current power source 19 is supplied on the body 18 from the electrode 16 for a fixed time through the plating liquid impregnated by the impregnating body 12 in the outer cylinder 11 by switching action of the switch circuit 20. Hereby, cleaned face to be plated is plated.
