CONSTITUTION:A processing electrode 1 and a work to be processed 2 are placed facing to each other with a specified gap D filled with processing liquid, and a voltage is impressed pulsedly between the electrode 1 and work 2 while the gap D is applied with ultrasonic waves 3, 4, 5. The work 2 is processed by thus generating electric discharge in this gap D and giving relative feed to the electrode 1 and work 2. The frequency of ultrasonic waves emitted at this time shall be 100kHz-2MHz.
