Abstract
PURPOSE: To make use convenient by providing a D/A converting circuit and a sample holding circuit between the arithmetic circuit and display device of a focusing detector which projects object images to a photodetector array and digitally displaying the focusing state by way of a signal processing circuit and arithmetic circuit, and outputting an analog focusing signal.
CONSTITUTION: The image of an object 1 is projected onto the photodetector array of a photodetecting device 3 by way of an imaging optical system 2, and the illuminance signal corresponding to the intensity distribution thereof is converted to a digital illuminance signal by a signal processing circuit 4. The output signal thereof is arithmetically processed by a central processing unit 5, and the digital focusing signal is sent to a D/A converting circuit 6. The analog focusing detected signal which is the output thereof is analog-displayed in an analog display device 8 by way of a sample holding circuit 7, and the imaging system 2 is moved by operating an optical system driving unit 10 by way of an optical system driving control circuit 9, whereby focus controlling is accomplished. Since the focusing state is analog- displayed, this device is convenient for use.
