Abstract
PURPOSE:To measure the value of the enzyme activity, by measuring the change of the light absorbance which is caused by the change of concentration of the reaction product or the substrate of the early stage of the enzyme reaction by the enzyme in the blood serum and then referring to the velocity of the change of light absorbance. CONSTITUTION:The enzyme in the blood serum and the reactive substrate are introduced to the reaction part 2 to secure a reaction of them, and the light absorbance at that time is detected by the lamp and the spectroscope. the measurement start time and the time of measurement are stored in the microprocessor system 6 for an automatic measurement of the change of the absorbance. The system 6 includes the CPU8, memories 9 and 10, interface 11, keyboard and others, and then can set freely the conditions of measurement by the input given from the keyboard 7. Then the measured value is processed by the CPU to obtain the value of the enzyme activity.
