Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a thermo-shrinkable sheet which shows excellent thermal tension in clamping a bundle of lead wires of an electrical apparatus by a method wherein a warping sheet composed of filament threads having specific dry thermal shrinking percentage and specific thermal stresses is attached partially by resin. CONSTITUTION:High molecular weight polyester etc. having 0.6 or more limiting viscosity measured at 30 deg.C in a mixed solvent of phenol/tetrachlorethane (6/4 by weight) is spinned and stretched to 3.0 times or more to obtain filament threads having a dry thermal shrinking percentage at 150 deg.C of 5% or more, a thermal stress at 100 deg.C of 0.3g/d or more and 100-2,000d, which are arranged in parallel in the form of warping to obtain the warping sheet. Then, on all the warping sheet is coated thermofusing and thermosetting resin such as terephtalic acid unsaturated polyester resin, epoxy resin, etc., which is solid at the normal temperature, so that the sheet can be stabilized by at least partial combination and attachment of the filament threads.
