Abstract
PURPOSE: To keep the ratio of fitting high for a long time in the case that the dimensions of parts to be fitted are stored in an electronic computer and parts suitable for each other are picked out, by stopping the picking-out when the number of stored parts becomes small and by supplying parts to be stored.
CONSTITUTION: The dimensions of first parts are measured and stored in an electronic computer. The first parts are laid up at A1WA40. The dimensions of second parts B0 are measured. The measured values of the second parts B0 are calculated together with those of the first parts to judge whether or not their measured dimensions are suitable for each other. If they are suitable for each other, the first and the second parts are assembled together. If they are not suitable for each other, the next stored dimensions of the first parts are calculated. Similar operation can be performed even if third parts C are provided between the first and the second parts. Unsuitable parts are discharged. When the number of stored parts becomes not larger than a prescribed value, the measurement of the second parts is stopped but the first parts are measured and laid up to increase the first parts. If the first parts are outer races, the second parts are inner races and the third parts are balls, ball bearings are assembled together with a high ratio of fitting.
