Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to stop a sweep at a perfect tuning point by setting two offset voltages as reference values to be compared to the output of a frequency discriminating circuit by a voltage comparing circuit and by controlling a tuning sweep on the basis of comparison results. CONSTITUTION:The output of intermediate frequency amplifier 5 is converted by frequency discriminating circuit 8 into an S-curve output and this output voltage is applied to voltage comparing circuit 9. In this case, reference values to be compared by circuit 9 are offset on the basis of the output of circuit 8 in perfect tuning and tuning sweeping circuit 10 is driven by the output signal of circuit 9 to make a sweep by controlling the variable capacity element of local oscillating circuit 4 and high frequency amplifying circuit 2. When the output of circuit 8 exceeds this offset voltage due to the sweep, the offset voltage is changed into the 2nd smaller offset voltage and when the output of circuit 8 drops below the 2nd offset voltage, the sweep is stopped. Thus, malfunction due to internal noises and disturbance noises can be prevented securely.
