Abstract

PURPOSE:To make constant the power, by controlling the charging voltage of an AGC circuit according to the length of a burst signal of burst shape signals. CONSTITUTION:A burst shape output signal P is detected at an envelope detector 12 and input to a broadband amplifier 15. The broad band amplifier has peaking circuit C2, L1 to obtain higher gain at higher frequency. Thus, by setting the amplitude frequency characteristics so that the gain of the frequency component with shorter burst time can be increased, the hold voltage of a capacitor C1 can be kept constant, so that the peak hold charge voltage is changed with the burst time, even if the burst time is changed. That is, the control voltage for the amplifier 11 can be dependent of the amplitude of burst signal, even if the burst time is changed.
