Abstract

PURPOSE: To accurately perform air-fuel ratio control at its resumption, by selecting an air-fuel ratio set signal, which corresponds to the concentration of oxygen within the period of the inaccuracy of the output of a sensor, instead of the output signal of the sensor throughout the period.
CONSTITUTION: In normal running, the output signal of a sensor is supplied to an air-fuel ratio control means 24 through a switch 22.
