Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a small sized portable heat storage device capable of high temperature heat storage by using a metallic plastic body with a large capacity for heat containing many columnar heat pipes as storage medium of thermal energy of the titled system used for a solar heat utilizing hot water supplying system et al.
CONSTITUTION: A metallic plastic body 1 for heat energy storage is formed with a high melting point metal which has a good heat conductivity, a large specific heat, and a sufficient strength to endure the temperature required for the device. Many heat pipes 2, 2' are buried or inserted therein. Thus, a heat storage medium is not water, therefore, a small shaped, portable and quite new heat storage system can be obtained.
