Abstract
PURPOSE:To widen a frequency band by which leading-in can be made, by providing a notch on the central conductor of the coaxial cavity, and turning ON and OFF a diode inserted into this notch in accordance with a frequency synchronizing with the reference frequency. CONSTITUTION:The diode 14 is turned ON and OFF by the controlling circuit 16, by watching the frequency of a reference signal which is input by the frequency discriminator 15. When the diode is turned ON, the notch 13 is short-circuited electrically, and a natural resonance frequency of the central conductor 3 becomes high. When the diode is turned OFF, it becomes low in reverse. A multiple frequency of the reference frequency signal, and the reference frequency are provided to the phase detector 6, and a phase error signal is made to synchronize with the reference frequency by providing it to the varactor diode 4 through the amplifier 7.
