Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the discharge amount of harmful components and improve workability by shortening the time up to the proper control status when idling returns to the normal operation status.
CONSTITUTION: An air fuel ratio controller compares the detection value of an exhaust gas sensor 2 with its set point. As a result, it controls a stepping motor 6 which is installed at the path on the way to both high and low speed air bleed entrances 4 and 5 of a carburetor 3 and negative-feedback-controls the air fuel ratio. In the case, a throttle opening sensor 12 is installed. A circuit which stops the operation of an actuator 6 due to a control circuit section 7 by the output of the sensor, as it is, and which holds the path area of the actuator 6, as in the previous idling status is also installed. Moreover, a cut-off valve 14 which is cut off in accordance with the throttle opening at idling is installed at the path on the way to the low speed air bleed entrance 5.
