Abstract

PURPOSE: To obviate the needs to install a separate heat recovery means for raising the efficiency of heat recovery by connecting a cold water inlet pipe to a permeated water line side, by which the recovery of permeated water and waste heat can be concurrently performed.
CONSTITUTION: Warm waste water is sent by pressure to the warm waste water pipe 2 by the high-pressure pump 5 and kept at a fixed pressure by the pressure- regulating valve 6 provided at the end of the warm waste water pipe 2. During passage through the warm waste water pipe 2, the waste water is separated into solvent, or the permeated water, passing through the reverse osmotic membrane 4 and a solute, or the concentrated water, staying in the water waste water pipe 2, and the concentrated water is discharged through the pressure-regulating valve 6 to the outside. On the other hand, cold water is introduced through the cold water inlet pipe 7 by a high-pressure pump into the container 1, where the cold water is heat-exchanged with the warm waste water in the pipe to recover waste heat and the warm waste water is discharged through the pressure-regulating valve 6 and the outlet pipe 8 to the outside for reuse.
