Abstract

PURPOSE: To secure an attenuation for the high-band component and then eliminate the impulsive noise, by holding the signal right before opening of the switch element which is opened and closed by the presence or absence of the HPF output and then applying the signal to the high input impedance circuit.
CONSTITUTION: The analog switch 2 is opened and closed in response to the presence or absence of the outputs of the HPF1 and HPL1 which extract the impulsive noise out of the input signal containing the impulsive noise, and makes the input signal pass through during closure of the switch. The pass signal right before opening the switch 2 is held by the capacitor 4 while the switch 2 is opened, and this holding voltage is delivered through the high input impedance circuit 3. In such constitution, the frequency characteristics can be improved since the input signal does not pass through the circuit which lowers the frequency characteristics, thus securing the sufficient attenuating function even to the impulsive noise of an extremely high frequency. In addition, both the LPF and the integrated circuit can be eliminated, requiring no use of a large-capacity capacitor which is disadvantageous to the package.
