Abstract
PURPOSE: To keep an appropriate air-fuel ratio even at the time of rapidly decelerating the engine speed, by producing driving pulses for a predetermined while after full closing of the throttle valve independently of the output signal of an exhaust-gas sensor for detecting the density of oxygen, and affording the driving pulses to an air-flow controlling means.
CONSTITUTION: The output signal of the exhaust-gas sensor 3 and a predetermined reference voltage are compared in a comparison circuit 4, and the output of circuit 4 is integrated in an integrating circuit 5. After dividing the output of the comparison circuit 4, it is superposed on the output of the integrating circuit 5 in a proportional dividing circuit 6. The output signal of the circuit 6 and a pulse signal having predetermined period and amplitude are compared in a pulse width modulating circuit 8, which produces driving pulses having a duty ratio and a frequency varied depending on the operational condition of engine. Further, a circuit for correcting the air-fuel ratio at the time of rapid deceleration is operated to impress a predetermined voltage to the pulse width modulating circuit for a predetermined while after generation of a signal for full closing of the throttle valve.
