Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the efficiency of welding the core of an outgoing line to a battery terminal, and enhance the dimension precision of the welding by using a welder electrode of the outgoing-line side which is provided with an undercut on its end surface. CONSTITUTION:An opened core 3 of an outgoing line 2 is subjected to spot-welding on a terminal 1 of a battery 6. The spot-welding is performed by feeding current between a welder electrode 5 of the outgoing-line side and a welder electrode 7 of the battery side, which the core 3 is pressed with the electrode 5. Here, the end surface of the welder electrode 5 of the outgoing-line side should be provided with an undercut 4 whose size corresponds to that of the core 3.
