Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce manufacturing processes and simplify constitution of a display tube by using the lead frame in which a plurality of 7-segments indicating pieces are formed integrally at one ends of lead wires. CONSTITUTION:The lead frame in which filaments 2c are connected and fluorescent substance is coated or baked after printing on each 7-segment indicating piece 1c and colon 1f is loaded on a substratum glass 3a. After covering the substratum with a front glass 3b, heating and fusion are carried out. Then, each indicating piece 1c and colon 1f on the lead frame are fused onto the frit glass on the substratum glass 3a, and each lead wire 1b is set in the fused state in the periphery. Afterwards, exhausting is carried-out through an exhaust pipe 6, and then the exhaust pipe 6 is sealed after activating processing.
