Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the brightness on picture surface from lowering due to X-ray brauning by using the fluorescent suspension which is formed by adding a fixed amount of barium acetate or more to water glass original liquid. CONSTITUTION:The water glass original liquid is the aqueous solution of glassy- solidified fused substance which consists of alkali silicate or the mixture of silicic acid and alkali silicate which is represented by a formula Me2O.nSiO2 (Me is alkaline metal, and n is the molar ratio for alkali). The fluorescent film for a picture tube is formed by using the fluorescent suspension which is formed by adding barium acetate in 0.02 or above by weight ratio to the water glass original liquid.
