Abstract

PURPOSE: To make the device compact and low cost by a method wherein an expansion arm provided with a spring force is connected to an arm of a touch roll and an unavailable force given to a winding roll by a touch roller is counterbalanced.
CONSTITUTION: A link 4 is installed in the direction of extension from a fulcrum (0) of an arm 1 which is installed in a hanging and shakable way and possesses the rotation free touch-roll 2 at its point, and further, link 4 is made to swing as well as arm 1. On the other hand, on the perpendicular passing through fulcrum o, a cardinal point (a) is set and the distance between the cardinal point (a) and fulcrum (0) is made longer than the effective length of link 4. And then, the cardinal point (a) and the tip of the link 4 is linked with an expansion arm 5 which is provided with a shrinking direction spring force. As a result, an unavailable force activating the touch roll 2 is always counterbalanced disregarding the swinging angle variation of the arm 1, thus, the contact pressing force of the touch roll 2 can be maintained as a constant value over the whole length from the initial roll to the trailing roll edge of the winding roll R.
