Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a catalyst having a high activity and high selection performance at a low temperature, by carrying one or more types of the metal or oxide of the Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu and Zn to the crystalline aluminosilicate zeolite or carrying one or more types of the metal of the Rh and Ru to the same zeolite.
CONSTITUTION: The catalyst which reforms the methanol into the gas composed mainly of the H2, CO and CH4 each is produced in the following method. The said base metal elements or the platinum group element and its compound is carried to the crystalline aluminosilicate zeolite. An example of the activity evaluation is carried out from these catalysts under the conditions of the table 1, and the results are shown in the table 2.
