CONSTITUTION:Analog voltage transfer line 1 and comparison voltage transmission line 2 are both composed of charge transfer devices and have sections S1-S4. In sections S1-S4, voltage comparators 3 and voltage generators 4 are provided. Input terminals of voltage comparators 3 are connected to analog voltage transmission line 1 and comparison voltage transmission line 2 respectively and their output terminals are connected to register 5. Voltage generators 4 are connected to comparison voltage transmission line 2 and also to register 5. Register 5 consists of flip-flops and a digital signal determined by those flip-flops is temporarily stored in register file 6 and also transferred out at a time.
