Abstract
PURPOSE:To converge a hunting occurred at the time of stopping a twophase exciting type pulse motor by varying the current values of the two phases in opposite direction to each other in response to the displacement amount from a stable point at the time of stopping the pulse motor. CONSTITUTION:An exciting coil 11 is driven through a stepping counter 1, a ring counter 4 and an analog switch 9, and the analog switch 9 is controlled through a multiplexer 8 by the output of a sensor 5 from an encoder. When stopping a pulse motor, the multiplexer 8 is switched to the sensor 5, the outputs EA, EB displaced at 90 deg. in phase of the sensor 5 are supplied through a level converter 7 to the multiplexer 8, thereby varying the signal of the analog swithc 9 corresponding to the outputs EA, EB in opposite direction to one another. When the pulse motor overruns the stopping point, a large returning force is applied to the motor, thereby reducing the converging time of hunting extremely low.
