Abstract
PURPOSE:To match the slots regardless of an error in the steel belt thickness by detecting the diameter of a wound iron core to change the take-up angle of a take-up shaft and also change the feed pitch of a steel belt. CONSTITUTION:A slot 4 is punched at a point P from a steel belt 1 by the punch 3 of a press 2, and wound and laminated to a shaft 5 on a shaft O spaced at a distance l to form a wound-core 6. Upon this occasion, the shaft 5 is driven in the take-up direction during the rise of a punch 3 by a predetermined index angle Q part by means of an index unit 7 driven by a press 2 in synchronism with a punch 3 in accordance with the number of slots required for the core 6. When the outer diameter of the core 6 is increased by being wound and laminated, the take-up shaft 5 moves by the increment of the lamination vertically together with a unit 7 along a guide post 9 by a detector 8 guiding the outer diameter of the core 6. The shaft 5 rotates slight angle alpha in the take-up direction by a connecting material 10 one end of which is fitted to a point of the member X and another end of which is fitted to an eccentric point Y of the shaft 5. Accordingly, the slots are aligned regardless of the error in the steel belt thickness.
