Abstract
PURPOSE:To easily obtain the desired longitudinal oscillation, by satisfying the specific conditions for the width of external circumference, width of inner circumference and the thickness, of the fan shape and trapezoid shape oscillator, and making stronger the oscillation mode broadwise the oscillator than other oscillation mode. CONSTITUTION:On the curved surface on the damper (base) 1' having curved convex surface, the piezoelectric oscillators 3-1-3-n are arranged via the junction layer 2, the shape of individual piezoelectric oscillator 4 is taken as a fan shape, and the inner and outer circumferences of the fan shape are respectively provided with the electrodes 5, 5'. The relation between the sum of the external circumferential width W1 and the inner circumferential width W2 of the piezoelectric oscillator 4 and the thickness t of the piezoelectric oscillator 4 is taken as W1+W2<2t. Further, the part between external circumferential gaps of the piezoelectric oscillators 4 is minimized, and the piezoelectric oscillator 4 is cut off with greater effective oscillation area, thereby enabling to make stronger the oscillation mode broadwise the piezoelectric oscillator than other oscillation modes.
