Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the resolution of a reproduced image by a method wherein a multinozzle plate provided with a groove around a nozzle orifice is bent by the pressure of an adjusting screw and thereby the jetting direction of ink droplets is adjusted. CONSTITUTION:Around a concavity 2b made on the back surface of the multinozzle plate 2 is provided a groove 2c in a shape of a circle concentric with a nozzle orifice 2a, while the screwing amount of three adjusting screws 9 fitted to a supporting plate 8 provided with a hole 8a for passing ink droplets through is changed. With this constitution, the jetting direction of the ink droplets can be adjusted by adjusting the bending of the multinozzle plate inside the groove 2c. This groove 2c can be made in the primary process of the preparation of the multinozzle plate 2 in such a manner that the light is applied to a photoresist through an original plate whereon a pattern of the concavity 2b and the groove 2c is drawn and that the groove 2c is then etched together with the concavity 2b on the multinozzle plate 2 by etching liquid 6.
